Integrated Management System

Company TEMPEST has in place an Integrated Management System (IMS) in accordance with international standards ISO 9001:2000 (Quality Management System), ISO 14001:2004 (Environmental Management System) and ISO/IEC 27001:2005 (Information Security Management System). We had been awarded the certificate of IMS from the recognized certification company TÜV NORD CERT GmbH with the seat in Essen, Germany.

In addition to the certifications mentioned above, in 2009 TEMPEST also established an Occupational health and safety management system in line with STN OHSAS 18001. Once again also in this case TEMPEST demonstrated its abilities in the audit of the company TÜV NORD CERT GmbH and so satisfied the certification conditions. This means that the portfolio now includes a fourth key certificate, which the company will defend again next year.

TEMPEST is also one of the first Slovak IT companies, which implemented the Information Security Management System ISO/IEC 27001:2005. Certificate for information security management systems according to ISO/ IEC 27001:2005 ensures, that the company protects its information in controlled way and approaches information in accordance with principles of its business. Through implementation of this standard the company confirms the accordance with relevant legal regulations, as well as an ability to continuously provide its services in case of disasters.
